A Chance for Peace
Will there ever be a chance for us to attain world peace? Sadly, as long as the humanity remains self-serving, as long as people think that theirs is the one and only true way of existing thus forcing the others to live and believe the same as they do, as long as there is greed, injustice, hatred and discrimination, there will never be universal harmony.
Many of us hope and wish for world peace; however, only few of us work toward achieving it. We dream that the world be ruled by love and not hatred, kindness and not greed, and compassion not criticism. You may come to realize that you don’t have the ability to change the entire world. But we should recognize our individual authority to achieve peace within our own lives. All of us must learn to do so because everybody’s small part can contribute to the world as a whole.
