McCain and His Provocative Comment on U.S. Troops

feature photo

Just recently, Democrats condemn the GOP presidential candidate John McCain for saying that US troops’ return from Iraq is “not too important”. On NBC’s “Today” show, he also added that what are important are the American casualties as well as the ability to withdraw.

Consequently, Obama’s campaign retorted about McCain’s remark as extremely conflicting with the concerns and needs of most Americans mainly the families of troops who are over there. Of course, many of our valiant soldiers and their families would oppose that it’s not too important for them to come home. Senator McCain definitely cannot tell when the American people and the Iraqi will finally collaborate politically. He can’t even tell us when, if it’s really possible, this war will come to an end. McCain, who spent five years as a Vietnam veteran and a prisoner of war, has emerged to be a strong supporter of the current war.
