The Virtue of An Erroneous Belief

We all hope for world peace, we all yearn for a comfortable and problem-free life, we all certainly desire love and happiness. All of these things appear to be the elements of an ideal existence. But do we truly want a picture perfect life? And is it really achievable?

If the price of a better life were to see other people suffer, go hungry, or—worst—die, I would much rather prefer to endure a not-so-comfortable existence. Plus, I’m not really a believer of all things good. Then again, I often wish that I were in the wrong and that a perfect life is indeed attainable.
