Ceaseless Battle

United States of America troops in the Middle East still has not been withdrawn. Contrary to that more is being deployed to the area as sentinels. Claims that the presence of the US troops there is due to security reasons were made. It seems that the US continues to be wary of the Muslims and is constantly on guard. Many have suffered these seemingly senseless wars.

Sadly, the end is somehow quite far and beyond reach. But what actually instigated all these? At first there was an alleged custody of massively destructive ammunitions, nuclear and biological warfare weapons by Iraq. The United Nations organized a team to verify these allegations but remained unfounded. Even the September 11 tragedy planned and executed by Muslims lead by Osama Bin Laden poses a question.

Looking through history, one would find out that the disparity between the West and the Muslims have been in existence long before George Bush and Saddam Hussein were born. It traces its way back thousands of years ago. The West has been in domination leaving resentment from the Middle East to continue. An unsightly turmoil that has become more and more widespread affecting several nations prevails. Unfortunately, no one could give an explanation for this eventuality. Knowing the reason back then might shed some light on this vast spread of gray area.

This might be due to the inadequacy of historical understanding and lack of respect for individual beliefs, religion, and culture. Nothing is certain though. One could only speculate as to what exactly is behind these wars. One thing is certain though, the oil reserves could definitely inspire a powerful commercial interest. With that in mind, clearly the root of all these ceaseless battles is greed. The need for power to be able to rule countries all over the world has taken its toll. Economics has become more and more unstable affecting the currency and trade. Oil price hikes is expected together with a growing disgust for America. What good would it be to become superpowers when the way of attaining it is at the expense of many?

  1. I don’t want to think much about it but it seems that Nostradamus is right all this time.

  2. American soldiers we are proud of you. Keep up the good works and God Bless America.

  3. Sending US troops in the Middle East has never solve the problem. If anything, it has caused a lot of families grief. And oil prices continue to soar high.
