Walk the Talk

We speak of peace pretty often but the question is do we really understand the word? What exactly is our perception of this? Honestly, I find it disheartening that many of us endeavor to solve world peace through mobilization and going out the streets with huge banners, placards, and the like. They encourage people to come out of their homes and speak up against the wars happening in some part of the world, particularly in the Middle East. Ironically, once you get to know these people you would discover that some are actually having disagreements within their families and even inside the organization itself. I believe that world peace starts right in the comfort of our homes. A big step starts with one small step.

  1. I believe it boils down to ones perception of peace and how he wants it manifested. Our cry for peace sometimes comes from inside of us but we want it evident through other means.

  2. You are bsolutely right. Let it start within yourself. That’s how you are going to make a difference.
